Press Release: “FryDay Night With Fry” to Debut April 21st on
    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — April 14, 2017
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — PHILLY ROCK RADIO announced that the long-running Melodic Rock radio program “FryDay Night with Fry” will debut on the station April 21, 2017, and air Friday nights 8 p.m. – 11 p.m.
“FryDay Night with Fry” is hosted each week by Pete Fry. The weekly 3-hour radio show presents a playlist of melodic rock songs spanning the past 40 years of music. “My sweet spot is melodic hard rock from the glory days of the ’80s through today, but don’t be surprised if I mix in ’70s/’80s hard rock and metal, to sleaze, glam, heavier prog, whatever, to me it’s all fair game,” said Fry.
“We’re really excited to have Pete’s show in our lineup,” said Kevin McElroy, station owner. It offers a mix of music that is distinct from the rest of our programs and adds a whole new flavor of hard rock and metal to our rotation. We look forward to having him introduce our audience to music and bands they haven’t heard on the station yet, anywhere for that matter, as well as dig up tunes they haven’t heard in years. Philly Rock Radio listeners will appreciate Pete’s passion and knowledge about the music he presents.”
Aside from hosting the radio program, Fry is probably better known as a musician in and out of the Philly area. He is the founder and lead guitarist for the band FarCry who tour playing Melodic Rock festivals throughout the U.S. and U.K. The band is currently working on their third studio album.
Pete first launched “FryDay Night with Fry” in November of 2012 on UK-based ARfm ( at the encouragement of Program Director Steve Price during Firefest in Nottingham, UK. Pete’s band FarCry was performing at the festival. A diehard rock fan, as well as musician, Pete thought he had something unique to offer listeners. Since its first broadcast, the show has gained an impressive and loyal world-wide following among melodic rock fans.
In his spare time, you can find Pete at the TapRoom on 19th, a craft beer bar he co-owns with his long-time friend, Michael Strauss in South Philadelphia (
Tune in: “FryDay Night With Fry” can be heard Friday nights, 8 p.m – 11 p.m., starting April 21 on, the station’s free mobile app and via the TuneIn mobile app. For all station information, visit is an internet radio station that presents a weekly lineup of original programs playing Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and Classic Rock from the late ’60s through today. It also provides a platform for indie artists and bands local to the Philly music scene.

Conservative talker chooses an alternate form of distribution

ST. LOUIS, MO – November 30, 2015. Conservative talk show host KEVIN JACKSON, who was called a “rising star” by Sean Hannity earlier this year, has decided to leave USA Radio Networks.

Jackson’s increasingly affiliated nationally syndicated radio show, heard coast-to-coast in some of America’s largest cities every weekday from 12pm to 3pm ET, will continue with independent syndication and delivery.

About his departure, Jackson said “My initial conversations with the new owners about building a new network around my show were promising but never materialized. It was evident to me that the group was not clear in their direction, certainly not as it pertained to my show. I felt we could accelerate the success that we created by going it alone.”

The KEVIN JACKSON SHOW is on a mission to bring an end to identity politics with no-holds-barred, common sense, conservative values. Jackson is a contributor on the FOX NEWS NETWORK, appearing regularly on the Sean Hannity Show, Megyn Kelly, and Bill O’Reilly as well as other national news networks.

USA Radio Networks operated under the name of Cross Platform Media Group and was recently sold to Anthem Broadcasting LLC, a start-up owned by Liftable Media. The network also recently lost syndicated radio talk show host Steve Deace.

“I’m looking forward to the future now that I don’t have a financially strapped network chained to my back,” Jackson commented. “But I wish them all the luck.”

The Kevin Jackson Show affiliation will be handled by veteran affiliate relations representative Beth Maranville of THE SHOW MUST GO ON! Interested radio stations or groups should call 770-843-2009 for affiliation and delivery details.

    About Kevin Jackson:
Kevin Jackson is Executive Director of The Black Sphere, LLC, a best-selling author, syndicated radio show host, and frequent guest of Fox News. Kevin does weekly radio hits on The Sean Hannity Show, Lars Larson, John Gibson, and many others, and his articles appear weekly in multiple publications.
