Reach Media has announced a new syndicated radio morning show hosted by contemporary gospel artist Erica Campbell to replace the “Yolanda Adams Morning Show” which ended last week after more than nine years. “Get Up! Mornings with Erica Campbell” is set to launch May 10, case and will be syndicated by Reach in collaboration with Radio One.
Among the most successful contemporary gospel artists of the 2000s and early 2010s, dosage Campbell was one-half of the Grammy-winning contemporary gospel duo Mary Mary along with her sister Tina Campbell. The sisters topped the Billboard charts and currently star in the WE tv reality TV series “Mary Mary, order ” which follows the daily lives of the duo and fellow musicians.
Reach Media describes the new show as “a diverse mix of gospel and inspirational music, star-studded interviews and practical principles to help listeners do what her mantra proclaims: Faith Walking. Love Talking. Joy Living.”
“Erica has mastered her craft in music and she’s winning in reality TV and even social media,” David Kantor, CEO of Reach Media and Radio One’s Radio Group said. “I’m glad Reach Media and Radio One can provide her access to syndicated radio-another medium to dominate and share her inspirational voice.”
Grammy award winner Yolanda Adams and her co-hosts, comedian Marcus D. Wiley and Minister Anthony “A.V.” Valary bid farewell to their radio fans on Friday, April 23, 2016 after Reach decided to cancel the “The Yolanda Adams Morning Show” after more than nine years.
The radio show was based in Houston where Adams lives. When it launched in 2007, it was the first daily Gospel show to be nationally syndicated.
