The recently announced launch of Reach Media’s nationally syndicated “Ed Lover Show” with Monie Love, has added Radio One’s Hip Hop W275BK-FM (BOOM 102.9) Atlanta to it’s lineup from 6-10am ET beginning January 11. The new 4-hour show will feature classic Hip Hop, celebrity interviews from artists and influencers plus features that target urban trendsetters. The show is also set to air on Radio One Throwback Hip-Hop and R&B WPHI (BOOM 107.9) Philadelphia and BOOM 106.9 Indianapolis.
Lover is a rapper, actor, comedian, musician, radio and television personality who gained Hip Hop icon status as a host of Yo! MTV Raps. He coined the phrase “C’mon, SON!” and is a member of the Hip Hop Hall of Fame. He has continued on radio most recently hosting Backspin on Sirius/XM. Show co-host Monie Love is a Grammy nominated MC and radio personality featured on songs like “Monie in the Middle” and “It’s a Shame (My Sister).”
