Premiere Networks syndicated radio host Ryan Seacrest is ready to conquer one of the few areas his empire has yet to touch…the fashion world. Seacrest and company recently announced plans to launch a new menswear line called Ryan Seacrest Distinction. Seacrest’s new line will feature a color by the numbers matching system, designed to help the fashion challenged easily mix-and-match shirts, pants, jackets and ties. According to the Ryan Seacrest Distinction website, “The foundation of every man’s wardrobe comes from four color groups: 1) Black, 2) Grey, 3) Blue and 4) Brown. Shirts and ties are designed to match with two or more of the color groups, generating many tasteful options. Jackets, pants, shirts, and ties are labeled with the number of the color group they match, creating a perfectly coordinated look. Simply match by number, grab and go and you’ll always look great.”
Seacrest admits he wasn’t always a fashion plate and had the idea for a menswear line as far back as his audition to host American Idol, “I had in mind the first time I walked into the Fox offices to audition. I didn’t have an expensive suit but I wanted to look the part.”
The Ryan Seacrest Distinction line will hit Macy’s stores this fall.
