Superadio has announced the launch of Superadio Latino, treat a new network targeting the Hispanic audience. Products and services offered by the network include services (spot production, voicetracking services and music libraries), syndicated radio shows “Las 20 con Kolo,” “Hablando Inmigracion con el abogadp JA Garcia” (an immigration daily show), and others. Superadio Latino will also launch three 24/7 Radio networks including “Tekila Radio” a Regional Mexican Network targeting Hispanic Men 18-34, “Max Radio” Latin Pop/Hurban Network targeting Hispanic Adults 18-34, and “Pescador Radio” (Spanish Christian Hits Network targeting Hispanic Adults 25-49). Two time Marconi Award winner Jesse Rios will serve as EVP/GM of the new network.
“In keeping with our legacy of inclusiveness and in response to the marketplace, we are thrilled to be able to offer a more diverse product lineup,” said Access.1 Communications CEO Chesley Maddox-Dorsey about the new network.
“Access.1 has always been a forerunner in the ethnic programming arena and is a premier content provider,” added Superadio Networks COO Jack Bryant. “We are pleased to expand our offerings to embrace this market. The U.S. Hispanic population has skyrocketed and is now 53 million strong and what’s more, Hispanics are growing more than 4 times faster than the general market. During the past decade, Hispanics accounted for 56% of the all U.S. population growth and this intensive growth trend is continuing unabated. It simply makes sense to provide content that serves this population group. Jesse Rios is the real deal, and he understands the Hispanic market with a kind of intuition and intelligence that I’ve seen in few people. We are absolutely delighted about these new exciting developments!”
“I am proud and honored to accept this position,” Rios said. “Superadio has a sterling reputation for being honest and sincere, which is really important to me on a personal and professional level. They are known far and wide as being a great company, and can always be depended upon to deliver a quality product. Superadio really cares about their audiences, and their broadcasting philosophy to be the best will catapult Superadio Latino Networks to becoming one of the top networks in Spanish radio today. I look forward to being a member of this cutting-edge team.”
