Cumulus Media syndicated talker Michael Savage‘s bold prediction that he would take over the afternoon slot currently manned by Sean Hannity by the end of the year is close to coming true. Cumulus and Hannity will part ways at the end of the year when the Premiere-syndicated conservative talker’s contract ends with the company. “We are not renewing our contract with Sean at year’s end,” said Cumulus co-COO John Dickey. Multiple sources are also reporting that Hannity is about to lose his prime time FOX News slot to Megyn Kelly as that network looks to gain favor with younger viewers.
Cumulus airs Hannity on about 40 stations, including News/Talk stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas and Washington, DC.
