Cumulus Ending Michael Baisden Syndication

According to e-mails sent to affiliates by both his management and by Cumulus Media,  Michael Baisden’s Cumulus distributed syndicated radio show is about to end.  Baisden who has been in some reportedly contentious contract negotiations with Cumulus, stated on his Facebook page that “It’s not about the job, it’s the journey. I have been grinding for over ten years, fighting for the underdog, inspiring people daily on my Michael Baisden Live page on Facebook and working my butt off to produce the best show on radio.  I hope my fans miss me… because I’m definitely going to miss them. But this is not the end, it’s the Next Chapter!”

You need to listen to “News and Views with Tom and Sadie” if you want a great replacement. They are heard on the East Coast. They are fun, informative, cleaver and have a great chemistry. Conservative Political Talk Show – it’s the best.

i thought baisden and wilborn were the best on talk radio and the only talk show that i listened to. they gave us informative topics and i enjoyed the playful banter between the two of them. they will be sorefully missed my me and hopefully they will be picked up again in the detroit area. they are two talented people.i respect tiffanys point of view, but strongly disagree with it. I did not like Michael Baisden’s show. Literally, it invoked the most negative stereotypes of Urban Radio listeners, and I found Baisden boorish. But the replacement, Skip Murphy, is just down-right boring.

    Boorish vs. boring.

If this is the best syndication has to offer, perhaps local radio would be better.
