Dial Global has announced a partnership with WYD Media and online radio sensation Zach Sang to launch a new syndicated radio Top 40 night show for 12-34s, Zach Sang and the Gang. Originating from the CBS Broadcast Center in Manhattan, Zach Sang and the Gang will feature trending pop culture, the latest Top 40 hits and edgy on-air fun week nights from 7p-midnight and is aiming to bring a lost generation back to broadcast radio. Sang began his career at age 14 broadcasting nightly from his home in Wayne, NJ and soon amassed an Internet audience of 2.6 million followers.
“Dial Global is excited to represent another exciting and unique programming opportunity providing our advertisers with the ability to reach a young adult audience,” Dial Global Pres./Sales Eileen Decker said. “We’ll be bringing Zach’s established fan base to broadcast radio and keeping his connection to them and new listeners in a variety of ways.”
“I want to turn stations all over the country into a giant hangout, every freakin’ night,” said Zach. “I literally want to turn the lights back on and bring a new level of excitement back to Top 40. I am psyched to be working with Dial Global on my mission to deliver a whole new generation back to radio.”
