CBS Taps Boomer Esiason for Sports Radio Duties

CBS Sports Radio has announced that TV analyst and radio host Boomer Esiason will play a key role in the network’s syndicated radio programming when it launches in September. The former NFL MVP and WFAN-AM New York morning show co-host will provide insight and opinion as CBS Sports Radio’s Senior NFL Analyst. In addition, Esiason will deliver commentary and updates on the current headlines during the CBS Sports Minute. Esiason will be heard weekday mornings near the top of the hour from 6-10am on CBS Sports Radio outlets including WFAN New York, WSCR Chicago, KNBR San Francisco and WIP-FM Philadelphia. Esiason will weigh in on players, coaches, upcoming match-ups, and the day’s trending topics throughout the NFL season as well as the pre and off seasons. “I’ve been fortunate to find a career that allows me to interact with fans who are just as passionate about sports as I am,” said Esiason. “I am thrilled to be taking on this new opportunity, which not only gives me the platform to discuss football, but a forum to voice my opinion on a variety of different topics in the world of sports.”
