Glenn Beck Inks $100 Million Deal with Premiere

Premiere Radio Network syndicated radio talker Glenn Beck has renewed his deal with the network for a reported $100 million dollars over five years. Beck’s reported new contract is worth twice as much as his last deal. In 2007, his contract was reportedly valued at $50 million over five years. Beck’s “The Glenn Beck Program” airs in more than 400 markets and typically ranks third as the most listened to program in radio syndication behind Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.

The new deal comes almost one year after Beck left Fox News to start GBTV, his own Internet-based network. Beck announced that he was leaving Fox News in April 2011 and his plans to launch GBTV the following month. At the time of the network’s debut in September, the Wall Street Journal reported that Beck nabbed roughly 230,000 subscribers, each paying either $10 or $5 per subscription.

In May 2012, Beck made the Forbes 100 Most Powerful Celebrities list. He ranked 23 with a reported $80 million in earnings.
