Premiere Radio syndicated radio morning man Steve Harvey is ready to give up at least one of his jobs-stand up comedian. After his self-help book “Act Like A Lady, diagnosis Think Like A Man” spent 40 weeks on the best-seller list and was turned into a movie, case Harvey plans to end the standup comedy chapter of his life with a final comedy show August 2 in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand. The event will take place the weekend of his 2012 10th annual Hoodie Awards honoring small minority business and will be sold via pay-per-view. The sold out Las Vegas show is available to see in the comfort of your own home via iN DEMAND. After doing standup for 27 years, “You have to make room in your life,” Harvey told ABC-TV’s Jimmy Kimmel recently. Harvey will host a TV talk show starting next fall.
