Nikki’s “Sixx Sense” Takes Dallas Wakeups

Motley Crue founder and bass player and Premiere Radio Network syndicated radio personality Nikki Sixx can now add morning show host to his list of credits. Premiere and KEGL-FM (97.1 The Eagle) have announced that Sixx will move to mornings with a customized for Dallas version of Sixx Sense with Nikki Sixx effective Monday May 7th. Sixx who joined the Eagle’s lineup for the weekend version of Sixx Sense in February 2010, will now add Morning Show Host to his extensive resume which includes founder, bass player and songwriter for Mötley Crüe and Sixx:A.M., two-time New York Times best-selling author of The Heroin Diaries and This Is Gonna Hurt,  clothing designer, philanthropist and photographer. He’ll be joined by co-host Kerri Kasem.  “Listeners can kick-off the day with Nikki, the proven professional, hugely successful, rocking personality,” said Kelly Kibler, President and Market Manager, Clear Channel Media and Entertainment Dallas. “Changing the station’s line-up is the logical choice and I look forward to the opportunities the new line-up will bring to our advertisers and listeners.”
