Sporting News Radio Drops “Two Live Stews”

Sean Pendergast will be the replacement for the The Atlanta-based “Two Live Stews,” who are losing their radio syndication deal with Sporting News Radio.¬† SNR will replace the “Two Live Stews” (Ryan and Doug Stewart) with¬† Pendergast in the 1pm-4pm ET time slot. Pendergast currently hosts a show on Houston’s KGOW-AM (1560), the flagship for Sporting News Radio.

Mission Media Group’s President David Gow says, “We’ve watched how Sean handles callers and drives his show, and we find him to be funny, intelligent, and entertaining. He is poised for the national stage.”

Gow also commented on the networks decision to drop the Stews saying, “We are fans of the Stews, but just felt the time was right to do something different with this daypart.”
