Westwood One has announced the return of the syndicated radio night show “Loveline” to the New York market debuting on Emmis rocker WRXP-FM New York beginning June 8th. Hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky and “Psycho” Mike Catherwood, “Loveline” addresses the issues of young people today in the arena of sex, relationships and health and was last on in New York at CBS Radio’s “Free FM” WFNY-FM (92.3), with Adam Carolla as Pinsky’s co-host. “Loveline is an exciting addition to 1019RXP and a benefit to the Tri-State audience,” said PD Leslie Fram. “Dr. Drew’s credibility and Mike’s personality are a perfect match for our nightly programming.”

“It’s time for the city that never sleeps to start living up to its name – Loveline is coming to New York City, five nights-a-week!” said Westwood One Founder/Chairman Emeritus Norm Pattiz, who is also the founder of Courtside Entertainment Group. “A melting pot of celebrity guests, real advice and insane comedy, Loveline and New York are a perfect match.”

“We continue to give great information in an entertaining context,” added Dr. Drew. “Mike creates an event in the studio every night. He’s a great radio talent. New York listeners won’t be able to resist this.”
