Ace & TJ Bow Out At “Kiss” Charlotte

After 13 years Ace & TJ can no longer call Charlotte their radio home. The Benztown Radio Network syndicated radio morning show failed reach an agreement on a new contract with CBS Radio WNKS (Kiss 95.1) Charlotte, ending the relationship with a station that had been their home base for over a decade. The morning duo did their last show for “Kiss” Friday morning, however their exit doesn’t affect the programs syndication outside of Charlotte. The show will continue out of  studio space leased from Clear Channel and will keep airing on about a dozen affiliates, including three Clear Channel stations, WQEN Birmingham, WNOK Columbia, SC and WKSI Winchester, VA.

WNKS Charlotte, operations manager John Reynolds  said “Unfortunately, we were unable to come to terms on a new agreement. We had a good run, the past 13 years, and look forward to making a major announcement about our new morning show.”
