Stephen A. Smith Exits FOX Sports Mornings

This makes one wonder just what Stephen A. Smith wants to do. Smith who in his broadcast career has been through a variety of roles on CNN/SI, ESPN and debuted his Fox Sports Radio morning show less than a year ago, will now move on to play a new position of roving “NBA expert” for Fox Sports Radio. Since late July Fox has been producing two separate morning shows, offering affiliates a choice of Smith or the WNDE, Indianapolis-based “Zakk & Jack.”  featuring former music personality Dominic Zaccagnini and ex NFL quarterback Jack Trudeau. The move leaves “Zakk & Jack” as the lone Fox option. Smith has just about done it all…from anchor to sit down interview host to MC of an ESPN reality show, to his most recent forays outside of sports as a regular guest on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, The Dylan Ratigan Show and The Ed Show. This latest move, whether the result of poor ratings or by the choice of a frustrated opinion maker, makes you want to say to Stephen A., “We know you know it all but please, just pick a lane already!”

Stephen A. Smith is just brutally awful as a sports person. His opinions are idiotic and he thinks he’s the baddest thing around. He’s the biggest laugh in sports talk. My local station went back to Czaban the minute he had another morning show. Thank God. Just get rid of this loser.

It’s about time! Stephen A Smith is horrible. I totally agree with Jaye…Steve Czaban should have never been let go.  If it’s not broke don’t fix it! The only thing Stephen A Smith did was boost  Mike & Mike ratings..
