Envision Makes McFly the Future of the “Live Ride”

Envision Radio Networks is set to launch “The Live Ride with Marty McFly” to replace “The Live Ride with Danny Wright” hosted by Seattle based personality Danny Wright who was recently let go by the syndicated radio company. The new version of the two-hour weekend show is  hosted by four-time “CMA Air Personality of the Year” nominee  Marty McFly of WKDF-FM Nashville, and will bring a weekly “concert” to country radio featuring live performances as well as country news, concert information and artist interviews. McFly is joined on the show by his former partner of 11 years Big Stew and the Executive Producer of McFly’s WDKF morning show, Preston Eisenback.

“It’s great to get back in syndication… If they can bring back Hawaii 5-0 then why not me?” stated Marty McFly. “Does this mean I can get backstage at the Garth shows in Nashville? Hello? Anybody? Book me Danno!”

That Danno would be Envision CEO/president Danno Wolkoff who said the move was made to a Nashville based show “for better access to artists and labels. We will now have backstage access to events and concerts we did not have in the past.”

A 25 year radio veteran, McFly has previously worked in Nashville at WYHY and WSIX, WFLZ Tampa,  KNIX Phoenix, WFBC Greenville SC, and WSGO Cookeville TN.
