Arbitron’s latest RADAR 105 report released today shows that radio reaches more than 239 million persons aged 12 and older over the course of a typical week, up from 213 million listeners one year ago in RADAR 101. Radio syndication company Dial Global held onto to the top ratings positions in the report that was released Monday (June 21) and covers the period April 2, 2009 to March 31, 2010.
Dial Global’s Contemporary, Complete FM and Adult Power Networks were ranked one-two-three in Adults 18-49, the same ranking as the previous report. In Adults 25-54, Dial Global’s Contemporary, Complete FM, and Adult Power Networks were No. 1, No. 2, and No. 4.
Premiere Radio Networks’ Modern Women Network and Young Influencers, were ranked No. 4 and No. 5 in Adults 18-49, and No. 5 and No. 3 in Adults 25-54.
Dial Global dominated the top 10 ratings ranks in Adults 19-49 with five networks. Premiere had four and United Stations had one (Impact Network).
Dial Global and Premiere each had four networks ranked among the top 10 in Adults 25-54. Westwood One had one network (Adults Network) and United Stations had one (Impact Network).
Arbitron’s RADAR 105 report was based on a sample of 377,044 respondents and included data from both Arbitron’s diary-based survey markets and its portable people meter service.
