Superadio Network is set to launch Saturday Night Online Live With Romeo for Top 40 stations on March 27. The show, hosted by WIOQ (Q102-FM) PD/Digital Content Director/afternoons Tim “Romeo” Herbster, will air nationally on Saturdays from 7 p.m.-midnight local time.
Superadio says the show will be “uniquely interactive” and built around “crowdsourcing,” with listeners able to chat with guests, join a social network, voice opinions on the air and online, and help choose the next song to be played.
“Romeo is uniquely talented, with a track record of success in major markets and worldwide digital platforms,” Superadio SVP/Programming & Affiliate Relations Rich O’Brien said. “We think he can be a ratings game changer.”
Premiere Radio Networks will be providing ad sales representation for the show, and Premiere EVP/Sales Carol Terakawa said, “This is an exciting opportunity, and we look forward to working with Superadio and Romeo to continue providing our national advertisers with the best programs to reach their audience.”
