Premiere Radio Networks announced today it will launch a new weekend syndicated radio show for Top 40 stations called Club Kane beginning March 28. Hosted by Kane, morning show host at Clear Channel WIHT (Hot 99.5) Washington D.C., the new program will air Sundays from 7 p.m. to midnight local time.
Each week, Kane will play chart-topping songs, debut new music and take requests as he welcomes listeners to his on-air party. Broadcasting live from WIHT, he’ll also discuss pop culture, music and entertainment, and feature candid conversations with music artists and celebrities.
The new weekend syndicated radio show adds another item to Kane’s job list as he’ll continue to host The Kane Show, the top-rated morning show in Washington as well as his nationally syndicated afternoon program of the same name, which can be heard on WFLZ Tampa, Fla; WLDI West Palm Beach, Fla.; KHFI Austin, Texas; WQEN Birmingham, Ala., and KISS XM.
“This is such a unique opportunity,” commented Kane. “Together with the team at Premiere, we’ve built an incredibly entertaining and compelling five-hour show that is 100% live and will connect with listeners everywhere. I can’t wait to get started!”
Premiere Radio Networks SVP of Programming Jennifer Leimgruber commented, “Kane is an incredibly talented radio personality, and we’re excited to welcome him to the Premiere team. We’re confident that this new, fun, fast-paced and entertaining music program will have listeners partying across the U.S.”
