Marc Angell, stomach President and CEO of Global Radio Network, Inc. said, “We’re very excited to be back in Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Philadelphia, Houston, Atlanta, Sacramento, Miami, and several other top markets”. Angell added, “With the demise of Citadel’s Timeless format, many affiliates have taken another look at Music of Your Life and realize there’s only one choice for the Great American Songbook, and that’s us. We’ve added hundreds of hit records to the format that play well with the format, dumped many of the old, tired songs and as a result, we’ve substantially broadened our listener base without abandoning our long-time listeners. Having such star talent as Peter Marshall and Pat Boone with their own shows is just icing on the cake.”
Originally created by jingle writer and music executive Al Ham as a nostalgia format, Music of Your Life has programmed what is now known as Adult Standards for 31 years and is one of the longest running syndicated radio networks in the country.
