Randi Rhodes Back In National Syndication

KKGN San Francisco Program Director John Scott revealed on his station¬† blog yesterday the news that fans of liberal talker Randi Rhodes have been waiting for. Not only will she return to Green 960 but to national radio syndication courtesy of Premiere Radio Networks. The home of Rush Limbaugh will syndicate¬† Rhodes beginning May 11. Scott also simultaneously revealed, (in what seemed to be a carefully prepared stunt) that Randi was the winner of an online listener poll to determine the most popular Green 960 host. Her show will broadcast live from Washington and debut on three Clear Channel owned left-leaning talk stations in L.A, and Portland, OR as well as San Francisco. *UPDATE* We might be a bit late with this due to a feed glich, but here is the official Premiere press release announcing Randi’s return

John Scott deserves an Academy Award for his staged vote and performance on Green960. WHAT A JOKE.
Unfortunately, the joke is on the listeners who are stupid enough to believe this “Spin-Baby-Spin”

It’s good to hear that Randi will be coming back on air. She is, undoubtedly, one of the best of the progressive talk show hosts. I welcome her back and look forward to hearing her once again on our local progressive talk station.
