United Stations Offers Free Services

Tough times call for whatever it takes to get the business. United Stations Radio Networks is lending a hand to its affiliates by offering free use of its production department for their automotive and car dealership clients. United Stations says the initiative is designed to help stations halt the loss of automotive advertisers in the automotive category at local stations. “The cutbacks by automotive advertisers at the local level pose a very difficult challenge for operators in every market size, price ” said USRN Chairman/CEO Nick Verbitsky. “Since our affiliates support our efforts week in and week out, it makes sense for us to pitch in for the good of our medium and support them in return.” USRN has in the past offered writing and production on a cash or barter basis under its “Ad Power” umbrella,
