*UPDATE* Arbitron’s Portable People Meter methodology is the villain in a petition put together by the Atlanta listeners of Warren Ballentine and Al Sharpton who have been cut at WAMJ-FM. The petition charges that the number of participants in the PPM panel was not representative of the target audience of the two shows and led to the decision to drop the hosts. KDAY-FM Los Angeles began dismantling it’s mostly syndicated weekday lineup by dropping Syndication One’s “The Mo’Nique Show” last month. This week the proverbial other shoe dropped as the Westwood One syndicated “The Wendy Williams Experience” was also removed from KDAY.
