Dave Graveline may have shunned his satellite radio platform for terrestrial radio but a much, much bigger star is staying put. Dave Graveline host of the long-running, nationally syndicated “Into Tomorrow” consumer tech program says he is not renewing his Sirius XM deal which has his program carried on the service. The Associated Press has reported what many have suspected all along-Take on The Day syndicated radio host Dr. Laura Schlessinger is taking her act to satellite radio. Howard Stern in an interview Thurday (1/21) with “Howard 100″ Sirius XM partner Bubba The Love Sponge, said that several terrestrial radio stations have invited him to return to syndicated radio. Stern is in the final year of a five-year, $500 million contract that Sirius used to lure him from broadcast radio syndication. Sirius XM Radio will launch an application for the Apple iPhone today (6/ 18) that will bring the satellite radio service to iPhone and iPod Touch users. They’ve taken quite a few of those hits over the past year losing affiliates in Washington, Dallas and Philly…now CBS has dropped O&A in Boston and Cleveland.
