Talkers Names Limbaugh “Heaviest” of All Time

Premiere Radio Networks syndicated radio talk superstar and media icon Rush Limbaugh, tops the list on TALKERS magazine’s new “HEAVIEST HUNDRED: The 100 Most Important Radio Talk Show Hosts of All Time” which appears in the trade magazine’s July/August 20th Anniversary Issue. The entire list will be released early next week and includes such diverse radio figures as Limbaugh, Arthur Godfrey and Barry Gray.

Premiere Radio Network nighttime syndicated radio personality Delilah and Entercom night talent Kim Iverson are semi-finalists in the Live with Regis and Kelly “Women of Radio Co-Host” contest. The syndicated radio talents are among 100 semi-finalists in the running to co-host the Regis and Kelly show with Regis Philbin on August 17th. Comedian Sheryl Underwood ,  known as one of the most highly educated and brilliant stand up comics in the business has abruptly ended her run as a featured player on the Reach Media syndicated radio Tom Joyner Morning Show and has joined the Premiere Radio Network morning offering the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

The Premiere Radio Network syndicated radio show Bob and Tom has lost executive producer Marty Bender due to budget cuts.  Bender spent over 20 years programming Bob and Tom flagship Classic Rock WFBQ, Indianapolis where “Q95” was #1 for 70 books in a row. He left behind the OM/PD duties at WFBQ in early 2008 to devote himself full-time to the Bob & Tom Show as executive producer at Premiere.

Premiere Radio Networks has announced a deal to become the exclusive source for Redlasso’s proprietary Pro Prep Service, which the network will offer on a barter basis throughout North America. Was It PPM or Keith Sweat That Cost Delilah a Job in Cincinnati?

Premiere Radio Network syndicated radio night maven Delilah was replaced with local programming (Warm At Night) earlier this week at WRRM Cincinnati. The reason given for the move was WARM 98′s PPM ratings slide versus last years diary based numbers. Premiere Extends Fox Sports Deal

Fox Sports Radio, celebrating its 10th anniversary this fall, has inked a long-term extension of its distribution agreement with Premiere Radio Networks. FSR, a division of Premiere, was launched in 2000. Under the new long-term deal, Premiere will continue producing and distributing the Fox Sports Radio Network. Terms were not disclosed.
