The National Radio Hall of Fame (NRHOF) announced the 2010 nominees in four public voting categories on Tuesday. The National Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremonies were held last weekend in Chicago and former syndicated radio personality turned television talk show host Wendy Williams took her place among radio’s legendary icons. Apparently time has stripped away much of the humility she first showed publicly when she got the news of her induction from RHOF national chairman Bruce Dumont in July. The tears flowed on her newly launched daytime television show as “the little girl from New Jersey with a dream” graciously took the call from Dumont live on-air. …

Premiere Radio Network’s Rush Limbaugh will appear as a presenter at the 2009 National Radio Hall of Fame induction gala and broadcast, set for November 7 at the Renaissance Chicago Hotel. Also set to act as presenters are Westwood One syndicated radio personality Dennis Miller, and media personality Willard Scott, who began his career in radio.

The National Radio Hall of Fame has announced it’s 2009 inductees and syndicated radio was well represented. Dial Global’s syndicated talker Neal Boortz,and two former Westwood One Radio Network talents Wendy Williams and Dr. Demento were selected into the hall via an online ballot.
