After weeks of speculation surrounding Syndication One talker and activist The Rev.Al Sharpton, and if or when he was getting the 6pm slot on MSNBC, the network announced Tuesday that Sharpton will host “PoliticsNation” on weeknights starting August 29. Ed Schultz, Dial Global syndicated radio talker and host of MSNBC’s “The Ed Show” is being sued by NBC employee Michael Queen for fraud and breach of contract claiming that he was never properly compensated for helping Schultz secure a TV deal. In an unusual move Citadel Media put the Joe Scarborough syndicated radio show on an immediate hiatus while announcing development plans for a new three-hour program to be hosted by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski . Reach Media’s nationally syndicated radio Tom Joyner Morning Show planned to broadcast live from earthquake-stricken Haiti today but only made it as far as Miami.
