Black Talkers a new website dedicated to covering talk radio targeted to the African-American community, has released it’s  “Black Talkers Talented 10″ (radio) list. Joe Madison of WOL Washington and XM radio is at the top of what Black Talk founder Rob Redding calls  “The definitive list of top black radio talk show hosts in the talk media industry.”  The list includes a number of syndicated radio talkers, with Syndication One personality Al Sharpton ranking at number two. Air America Media has created an in-house sales unit, AAM Network Sales to handle the duties formerly held by Westwood One. Being replaced by Montel Williams has turned out just fine for Lionel. Air America will debut “The Lionel Show” in its 6-9 a.m. ET syndicated morning time slot beginning Monday 5/26. The 20-year veteran talk radio host recently ended a two-year run in the 9-noon ET slot before being replaced with Williams. “Lionel is the perfect morning talent for today’s talk radio stations, both AM and FM. Air America Media names radio vet Stuart Greenblatt as VP of the company’s new affiliate sales division. Most recently, Greenblatt served as VP/Affiliate Sales for Westwood One, where he helped launch “The Dennis Miller Show” and “The Fred Thompson Show,” while maintaining and growing “Radio Factor with Bill O’Reilly.” At Air America Greenblatt will head up affiliations for the radio network’s programming including Rachel Maddow, Ron Reagan and the recently launched Montel Williams shows.
