Citadel Media American Country Countdown syndicated radio host Kix Brooks will broadcast his weekend show once a month from the studio of a different radio affiliate next year.  Brooks, who wraps up his Last Rodeo concert tour with recording partner Ronnie Dunn tomorrow night (9/2) in Nashville, is also planning to MC a concert series in 2011. Citadel Media’s Kix Brooks adds a daily short form feature in addition to his weekly American Country Countdown, named “Just for Kix.” The country music star and syndicated radio host will take questions from listeners and answer them in a :60 feature that debuts March 1. The American Country Countdown clears on over 350 stations.

Kix Brooks, one half of the award winning duo Brooks & Dunn and host of Citadel Media’s syndicated radio weekend show American Country Countdown, takes the Country Music Association Award as National Broadcast Personality of the Year. The winners were chosen from five finalists in each category by panels of broadcast pros from all market sizes. The 43rd annual CMA Awards will air live on November 11 on ABC-TV.
