Artie Lange Returns to Radio with “Nick and Artie” Show

TMZ is reporting that DirecTV Sports will launch a new daily nationally syndicated radio show co-hosted by former Howard Stern sidekick Artie Lange and comedian Nick DiPaolo.  Reports say that Lange and DiPaolo have inked a three-year, multi-million dollar deal to host the talk show that will also be taped for later broadcast on DirecTV. Howard Stern Returns to Praise WYSP Not to Bury It

Howard Stern returned on Friday to the station that helped launch him as a star in national syndicated radio. Rush, Seacrest Top Radio Performers on Forbes List

Premiere syndicated radio talker Rush Limbaugh is #23 on the new Forbes Celebrity 100 list of the world’s most powerful celebrities with an estimated recent yearly pay of $64 million. #24 is KIIS-FM, Los Angeles and Premiere Radio syndicated Ryan Seacrest, $61 million.  Sirius XM star Howard Stern is #26 on the list with $76 million. And #30 is Premiere talker Glenn Beck, with an estimated $40 million in pay.

Howard Stern Stays Put at Sirius XM

Dave Graveline may have shunned his satellite radio platform for terrestrial radio but a much, much bigger star is staying put.  Howard Stern the self proclaimed “King of All Media,” made the announcement this morning that he has signed a new Sirius XM contract and will stay on satellite radio for five more years. Howard Stern in an interview Thurday (1/21) with “Howard 100″ Sirius XM partner Bubba The Love Sponge,  said that several terrestrial radio stations have invited him to return to syndicated radio. Forbes Magazines latest Celebrity 100 list calls Premiere Network’s syndicated radio maven Rush Limbaugh “the country’s most listened-to (and perhaps most polarizing) radio host.” Limbaugh earns $54 million, and was listed as #23 in the Forbes list.
