Talk Radio Network’s syndicated radio host Erich “Mancow” Muller has settled a lawsuit against Emmis Communications after the company fired him in 2006 from Alternative WKQX-FM (Q101) Chicago. Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. Mancow had sued Emmis for $6 million, alleging the company disparaged his show and conspired to prevent him from working in Chicago. The lawsuits continue to fly surrounding the D.L. Hughley Morning Show. URBan Radio Communications who served as the show’s syndicator in an effort to roll out the show nationally, filed a multimillion lawsuit against Emmis, claiming the owner of Hughley’s flagship station WRKS KISS FM New York, “wrongfully interfered” with the host’s contractual relationship with his syndicator.
