In a surprise move Talk Radio Network president of programming Phil Boyce has announced his exit from the syndicated radio talk network effective immediately. Boyce joined TRN in November 2008 after a 14-year stint programming WABC, New York.  He also served as VP of News/Talk programming for ABC Radio and Citadel Media.  Boyce who landed in New York after programming Talk WJR Detroit hopes to announce his plans shortly.

John Rosso is out as President of Citadel Media following the network’s acquisition by Cumulus Media.  Russo joined the network in October 2009 and had overseen ABC News Radio, ESPN Audio and nine 24-hour formats.  In a memo to his staff, Rosso wrote, “I’m writing to… let you know that I’ll be leaving my role as President of the network, effective today. Cumulus Media Inc.  has formerly announced the acquisition of Citadel Broadcasting Corp. With the completion of the transaction  Cumulus added Citadel Media Networks, (the home of syndicated radio shows from Don Imus, Kidd Kraddick, Tom Kent, Perez Hilton, Thalia, Focus on The Family and the ABC and ESPN radio networks) as well more than 200 radio stations.
