Michael Baisden Cries Foul Over New York Exit

Cumulus Media syndicated radio personality Micheal Baisden, not known for humility, has taken it upon himself to create a petition to move his syndicated radio show to WBLS-FM New York after it was ousted from WRKS-FM  (98.7 Kiss) in the wake of ESPN’s takeover of the frequency this morning. Cogent points are made in Baisden’s open letter to his fans (see below), but this smacks of desperation.

Cumulus Takes Advantage of Limbaugh Controversy

Cumulus Media Networks reports that some 140 stations have already signed on for Mike Huckabee’s new daily syndicated radio talk show that debuts on April 9th. Premiere Radio to Rush Affiliates: “Don’t Worry About the Commercials”

Premiere Networks has sent a memo to Rush Limbaugh syndicated radio affiliate stations that it has cancelled all national radio commercials for the Limbaugh show for two weeks. Here is the text of the memo sent to stations:
