TRN (Talk Radio Network) syndicated radio host Mancow will be making a New York guest appearance this Thursday from 4-6pm when he auditions for a permanent slot on WOR (710 AM). His guests will include Kelsey Grammer, Jerry Springer and Ron Paul, among others. Mancow, whose Chicago-based daily radio show “Mancow’s Morning Madhouse” airs nationally, was most recently heard in the New York market on WABC (770 AM).

Fox News weekend anchor and correspondent Geraldo Rivera has signed a deal with Cumulus Media to host 10am to noon on WABC-AM New York. Rivera starts his new gig on January 3 replacing Joe Crummey who ended his show last week. In a surprise move Talk Radio Network president of programming Phil Boyce has announced his exit from the syndicated radio talk network effective immediately. Boyce joined TRN in November 2008 after a 14-year stint programming WABC, New York. He also served as VP of News/Talk programming for ABC Radio and Citadel Media. Boyce who landed in New York after programming Talk WJR Detroit hopes to announce his plans shortly.
