Reach Media syndicated radio personality Tom Joyner will broadcast his morning show from a Detroit high school this Monday to announce his support for the Detroit school district’s updated enrollment campaign.
Monday’s show will be aired from Renaissance High School with financial manager Robert Bobb as one of Joyner’s guests. They will discuss Detroit Public Schools’ 2010 “I’m In DPS 2.0″ campaign. Joyner also will speak with students at Mumford High School.

Premiere Radio Network nationally syndicated radio host Delilah will be in Haiti this weekend to report on the devastation caused by the 7.1 earthquake that struck the country in January.
Delilah will take an aerial tour of Port-Au-Prince to report on the progress that’s been made, and will also be visiting doctors, nurses, and orphanages impacted by the disaster.

Westwood One has announced that gossip blogger Perez Hilton is set to launch a weekly countdown radio show as an alternative to Premiere Radio Network’s Ryan Seacrest. Hilton’s new radio program promises a “cooler alternative” to “On-Air with Ryan Seacrest,” which has been airing since 2004.
According to Billboard.com, Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, will countdown the top 40 with his own hand picked set list.

Dial Global and Premiere Radio Networks each placed four ad networks among the top 10 in Arbitron’s March RADAR 104 radio network ratings for persons 25-54. Dial Global has three out of the top five ranked networks Adults 25-54. Dial Global also continues to have the top three ranked networks in the key buying demo of Adults 18-49. The lawsuits continue to fly surrounding the D.L. Hughley Morning Show. URBan Radio Communications who served as the show’s syndicator in an effort to roll out the show nationally, filed a multimillion lawsuit against Emmis, claiming the owner of Hughley’s flagship station WRKS KISS FM New York, “wrongfully interfered” with the host’s contractual relationship with his syndicator. All Access is reporting that Dial Global has picked up syndication of Emmis Top 40/Rhythmic KPWR Power 106 Los Angeles based Big Boy’s Neighborhood . Citadel Media had previously announced that it would no longer distribute the syndicated radio show as of March 28th. Big Boy’s Neighborhood Exec. McVay Syndication has agreed to purchase the short-form feature, “8-Track Playback”, hosted by Donny Osmond , from Broadcast Barter Radio Networks (BBRN) for an undisclosed sum. The deal puts both of Osmond’s radio programs under the umbrella of McVay Syndication, which also syndicates “The Donny Osmond Show” in conjunction with Citadel Media in the USA and Orbyt in Canada.
