Warren Ballentine Loses an Hour in Atlanta

Syndication One talker Warren Ballentine lost a portion of his 3 hour syndicated radio show in Atlanta this week when CBS Radio WAOK (1380 AM) dropped the first hour of his daily show to make room for Westwood One’s Gayle King Show . The loss of the 10A-11A hour is a setback for Ballentine who fought to get back into the Atlanta market after Radio One Urban AC WAMJ-FM dropped both Ballentine and Al Sharpton from their line-up back in January 2009.

Premiere Grabs Redlasso

Premiere Radio Networks has announced a deal to become the exclusive source for Redlasso’s proprietary Pro Prep Service, which the network will offer on a barter basis throughout North America. Elvis Duran Group Launches New Syndication Company

The Elvis Duran Group, the entertainment company owned by syndicated radio personality Elvis Duran, has partnered with former ABC Radio SVP of Programming John McConnell to launch a new syndication division. Launched in 2007, The Elvis Duran Group is an entertainment company owned by Duran and talent agent David Katz that focuses on creating content for radio, television, broadband, internet, theater and film.
