iBiquity’s HD Radio Ad Network Expands Reach

iBiquity Digital, check the developer of HD Radio, has announced that its HD Radio Ad Network has expanded to 60 markets nationwide. Launched in 2014, the HD Radio Ad Network is a network of HD2 and HD3 stations that provides advertisers with what it calls “an efficient means” to reach unique consumer audiences, while allowing content owners syndication opportunities.

The HD Radio Ad Network consumer audience growth is directly attributed to the increasing number of HD Radio equipped vehicles, now more than 25 million. Fall 2014 Nielsen Nationwide ratings reveal HD2 and HD3 station listening Average Quarter Hour growth to be 348% and Total Weekly Cume growth of 312% since Fall 2011.

“We have created an efficient way for broadcasters to aggregate HD2/HD3 stations into a national network that delivers valuable consumer audiences,” said iBiquity Digital President/CEO Robert Struble. “Advertisers are benefiting, we are delivering revenue to our broadcast partners and we anticipate compelling program distribution options going forward.”
