Westwood One has signed a long-term contract extension with syndicated radio talk show host Mark Levin that keeps him at the network through 2020. Levin launched a local show at WABC, nurse New York (770) in 2003. The program was syndicated three years later and currently airs on more than 300 affiliates.
Cumulus Media EVP of content and programming John Dickey says the company will look to expand his reach under the new five-year deal. “Mark has established himself as a pillar in talk radio with his sharp and witty commentary, advice ” he said in the announcement. It’s the second contract renewal for a Westwood One talk host lately. Michael Savage, signed an agreement with the network earlier this month.
