CBS Sports Radio’s afternoon program, “The Doug Gottlieb Show,” will be simulcast to the CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, in a move to expand its live weekday studio programming. The three-hour program is hosted by Doug Gottlieb weekdays from 3-6pm and will begin its simulcast on the CBS Sports Network beginning August 25.
“The Doug Gottlieb Show” features national sports talk, headlines, and interviews with current and former sports icons, as well as newsmakers from the sports world and listener phone calls and will originate from the CBS Sports Radio studios in New York City.
“Adding The Doug Gottlieb Show greatly strengthens our afternoon line-up adding three hours of live and relevant content each day,” said CBS Sports Senior VP/Programming Dan Weinberg. “Doug’s show is high-energy, insightful and entertaining and we are excited to extend the reach of his radio show to the CBS Sports Network television audience.”
CBS Sports Radio Director of Programming Eric Spitz added, “Doug is a cornerstone talent of CBS Sports Radio. To be able to expand the exposure of his program through CBS Sports Network is a win for everyone involved. I have no doubt Doug’s boundless energy, strong opinions and great passion will play well to a national television audience.”
