Warren Ballentine Charged in $10 Million Mortgage Fraud Scheme

Syndicated radio host,  “Truthfighter” and “Peoples Attorney”  Warren Ballentine,  has found himself in some very hot water after being indicted last week for his alleged involvement in a $10 million mortgage fraud scheme that took place between 2004 and 2006.  According to the federal indictment Ballentine is charged with helping to get nearly 30 mortgages in which buyers were fraudulently qualified for loans based on false documents. Prosecutors have charged Ballentine with two counts of bank fraud, two counts of making false statements to lenders and one count each of mail fraud and wire fraud. The 41-year-old Ballentine who is heard on nearly two dozen radio stations through his Radio One syndicated radio show, is scheduled to appear at the Dirksen U.S. courthouse in Chicago on Feb 5th.
