Monday marked the long-awaited debut of Cumulus Media Networks newest talker, online Mike Huckabee. The Mike Huckabee Show launched on some 180 affiliates nationwide, treatment with WOR New York, KLIF Dallas, KSEV Houston and KSFO San Francisco among the show’s charter affiliates. With the new mantra “more conversation, less confrontation,” Huckabee hit the air today at noon (ET), assisted by Executive Producer Renee Bakos, technical and creative director Joey Salvia and call screener Casey Acevedo. Commenting on the launch, Cumulus Media co-COO John Dickey said, “We’ve been overwhelmed by the interest from radio stations and listeners from coast-to-coast eager for Governor Huckabee to begin his daily show, and we’re so pleased this exciting day is now here.” Huckabee will continue to offer his daily syndicated commentaries and will retain his weekend TV hosting duties at FOX News Channel.
