Former Talk Radio Network President of Programming and WABC New York program director Phil Boyce joins Salem Communications in the newly created position, VP/Director spoken word format. In his new position Boyce will be in charge of the company’s programming on its news/talk, Christian teaching, talk and business talk stations. Boyce who has been awarded PD of the Year by R & R magazine, and was named one of the top 10 PD’s of the year 10 straight years in Radio Ink, begins in his new role effective February 3, and will work out of Salem’s New York/New Jersey offices.
