Warren Ballentine Exits WAOK Atlanta
Syndication One syndicated radio talker Warren Ballentine is out at CBS Radio’s WAOK (AM 1380) Atlanta. There is no official word on why or who may be his replacement in the 10AM-1PM time period. This is not the first time that the show has been shuffled about in the Atlanta market, it was dropped by Radio One owned WAMJ-FM, picked up by CBS and lost an hour to the now defunct Gail King show. Here’s a post from Ballentine’s Facebook page: “The SHOW IS STILL ON EVERYDAY ACROSS THE NATION we lost 1380am in atl but already have 3 other stations looking to add us in the ATL. We are still on everywhere else Shame aok let us go cause of egos(I missed FSO and they felt disrespected even though I couldn’t make it till that sunday) black folks what can we do? If u in the ATL tune via internet…”

SERIOUSLY???????? Is what Warren said true? He misses FSO and the powers that be show him the door. I can’t believe this!!!! Is radio comprised of so much pettiness that they would deprive a community of a treasure like Warren. This is some Bulls**T!!!!!!
I miss the Warren Ballentine show he informs us, he keeps it real no matter who u are, and he is trying to get us to come together to help each other. What is the problem? Please bring the Warren Ballentine show back. We are missing out on the truth.
My husband and I enjoy the Warren Ballentine show and would like to have it return very soon. We hope a station with clear reception will pick him up shortly. The truth fighter discusses a lot of issues that are important to us. We are tired of the vain, shallow talk that is supposed to be what we all want from radio.
Not surprised. When we start to reach each other with truth nationally, there is always some BS that cuts the rope. Thats why we need our own ropes. Truth Fighters of the World Unite!
