Univision Teams with iHeartRadio to Offer Spanish Language Content

Clear Channel Radio and Univision, the leading media company serving Hispanic America have announced that Univision Radio will become a major provider of Spanish-language radio content on iHeartRadio, extending Univision Radio’s popular 70 radio stations programming, including streaming of 45 stations, to the New iHeartRadio platform wherever it is available, including the Web, mobile and automobile.

Starting later this year, iHeartRadio users and Univision Radio fans will be able to use the New iHeartRadio to tune in to Univision Radio’s menu of music, sports and talk formats as well as the leading Spanish AM and FM radio personalities, including:

Omar & Argelia, No. 1 rated morning radio show in Los Angeles

Dra. Isabel, the angel of the airwaves

Piolin, one of the most popular morning radio personalities in the country

Luis Jimenez, renown host of “The Luis Jimenez Show”

Raul Brindis (y Pepito), host of Houston’s top-rated Latino morning show

Javier Romero, the king of Miami Latino morning radio

The partnership marks the first third-party distribution relationship for iHeartRadio, and enables its platform to better reach the growing Spanish speaking  audience. The New iHeartRadio is Clear Channel’s free, industry-leading digital radio service that offers more than 800 broadcast radio and digital-only stations from 150 cities plus the ability to create custom radio stations in one fully integrated service.
