United Stations Radio Networks (USRN) inks Hip Hop pioneer Tone- Loc for “Tone-Loc’s O.G. Hip Hop Classics,” a new series hosted by Tone-Loc. The one hour program is available Monday through Friday and can be assembled as a block of weekend programming. United Stations says the show is a newly developed series intended to take advantage of current interest in the “gold library” of Hip Hop and Rap recordings. The program will span the entire era but will also include guest appearances from current artists who will discuss the classic ‘Jams’ that influenced them.
KDAY-FM Los Angeles PD Adrian Scott commented, “Tone-Loc brings the perfect dynamic to the station’s diverse, rapidly-growing audience. We are excited for the fresh new spin on old school Hip Hop that Tone-Loc promises to deliver.”
The series, which debuts November 29, is the result of a partnership with Los Angeles-based Good Guy Entertainment.
