Walt “Baby” Lovelegendary radio personality and host of Dial Global syndicated radio shows “The Countdown” and “Gospel Traxx,” organized and hosted a special day for homeless women and children over the Labor Day weekend in Stockton, CA.  The event at the New Hope Family Shelter gave 40 women and 20 kids carnival rides, games, plus food and drink. Love became involved with the New Hope Family Shelter when a listener to his syndicated radio “Gospel Traxx Show” on Clear Channel rhythmic oldies “Mega 100.1” KQOD called in and shared her story about how the shelter helped her.  The shelter provides food, clothing and shelter to homeless women while getting their lives back in order.  Love says, “Radio truly touches lives and makes a connection that’s a blessing to all.”
