Premiere Radio Network nighttime syndicated radio personality Delilah and Entercom night talent Kim Iverson are semi-finalists in the Live with Regis and Kelly “Women of Radio Co-Host” contest. The syndicated radio talents are among 100 semi-finalists in the running to co-host the Regis and Kelly show with Regis Philbin on August 17th. Contestants include women broadcasters from both the US and Canada with the winner chosen by votes via Facebook.

*UPDATE* The power of local radio trumps syndicated radio on this one. Kim Iverson  made the cut to get into the final ten but it was a quartet of local ladies who will fill in for Kelly Ripa appearing  with Regis Philbin on Regis and Kelly beginning Tuesday (8/17). Clear Channel  Top 40 WKQI Channel 95-5 Detroit “Mojo In The Morning” co-host Shannon Murphy, Cumulus Top 40 WWWQ Q100’s Jenn Hobby, Clear Channel AC KOST Los Angeles’ Kristin Cruz and Clear Channel Top 40 WXXL Orlando’s Jayde are the winners who will be seen live coast-to-coast thanks votes by their facebook friends.
