14 July 2010 5,839 views No Comment

Comedian Sheryl Underwood ,  known as one of the most highly educated and brilliant stand up comics in the business has abruptly ended her run as a featured player on the Reach Media syndicated radio Tom Joyner Morning Show and has joined the Premiere Radio Network morning offering the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

Underwood will be a weekly contributor on the show and  will serve as “guest host” when Harvey is away. In addition, she will continue to host The Sheryl Underwood Show On Jamie Foxx’s The Foxhole that airs on Sirius 106/XM 149.

Our Take: There as been talk that Harvey will end his radio run once his contract expires due to increased commitments (The Family Feud.) Underwood, long considered one of the sharpest minds in comedy, could move from Harvey stand-in to full time replacement very quickly.
