Radio Disney is bringing back an all but forgotten format,the serialized radio drama, when it debuts My Dream, the continuing saga of  Kayla, a teen who juggles a life of music with school and home life.

“This original series is a contemporary spin on an old-time radio staple and begins an exciting new initiative that’s designed to spark the listener’s imagination with relatable characters and short stories,” said Ray De La Garza, VP of Programming for Radio Disney, the 24-hour network targeting kids, ‘tweens and families.

Beginning July 5th, new episodes of My Dream will air at 9:25 am and repeat multiple times during the dayon the syndicated radio network. Daphne Blunt of The Young and the Restless and Big Time Rush stars as Kayla.
