Peter Gammons Joins Sporting News Radio

Sporting News Radio has inked former ESPN broadcaster and Boston Globe Baseball writer Peter Gammons  to provide daily syndicated radio analysis and commentary.  Gammons who also appears on the MLB Network, will broadcast live local segments on select SNR affiliates in major league markets. Stations adding Gammons’ local commentary include  CBS Radio Sports WFAN-A New York,  WSCR-A (670 The Score) Chicago, WIP-A Philadelphia, KDKA-F (93.7 The Fan) Pittsburgh, and WJFK (106.7 The Fan) Washington; Entercom Sports WEEI-A Boston; Gow Sports KGOW-A Houston; and Big League Broadcasting Sports WQXI-A (790 The Zone) Atlanta.

“Peter Gammons is a national treasure. No one has more insight into the game today, and his elegant storytelling honors baseball and its rich history. We’ve had a tremendous response from our affiliate partners who recognize the value of integrating Peter into their local programming initiatives,” said SNR President Clancy Woods.
